Help with Instrumentation

Instrument Loan

Instrument/Equipment Loan to UNAVCO community members includes GPS/GNSS receivers and antennas, terrestrial LiDAR scanning (TLS), and other equipment for science investigations. Highest priority for equipment loans is given to PIs with NSF-funded projects who request UNAVCO support in their proposal.

Instrument Purchases

Instrument/Equipment Purchases by UNAVCO community members is currently limited to some modern GPS/GNSS receivers and antennas.

Instrument Repair

Instrument/Equipment Repair at UNAVCO has been discontinued. All repairs must now be handled directly by the manufacturer.

Development & Testing

Development & Testing of equipment for UNAVCO community members can be requested, including extreme thermal tests, antenna motions tests, testing of new GNSS receivers and antennas and new receiver firmware and options, testing of new communication technologies, testing of new power systems, and so on.
