Thank you for completing the following tasks on schedule so we can maximize the time during the workshop for learning and collaboration.

Course Information

Prior to August 16, 2016 short course beginning

  1. Review TLS and SfM manuals if you are not highly familiar with the methods. In particular:
    1. TLS Field Methods Manual
    2. SfM Guide for Instructors and Investigators
  2. To gain more familiarity with SfM photogrammetry, the app 123D Catch allows easy creating of 3D models using a phone. Particularly recommended for people new to SfM.
  3. Prepare your presentation if you volunteered to give one during the Community Examples session on Thursday August 18. Presentations should be 5 minutes so we can have a couple minutes of questions. We recommend preparing just 5-7 slides. (detailed session agenda)
  4. Take the pre-course survey - you will be sent a link to an online survey in the weeks before the short course
  5. Review packing list for appropriate equipment and clothes
