These materials are presented for reference as created for a short course at the 2018 UNAVCO Science Workshop in Broomfield, CO.
Software List
- GMT5, for plotting the data
- Software to view the GMT plots, e.g., Ghost Script. Mac users can install Ghost Script using macports or use Preview, a built in application on a Mac.
- Baytap08: Tidal Analysis Software: We will be using the BAYTAP08 software to analyze the tidal signals, estimate the barometric response and isolate strain signals. This software requires a Fortran complier. I will provide pre-compiled binaries for Mac and Linux users during the class.
- A text editor such as vi, emacs or brackets to edit scripts.
- Optional: RStudio
Useful Documents
- PBO (now NOTA) SEED Codes
- Strainmeter Processing Overview
- Baytap 08 User Manual
